Autumn.’11

Well, hello there !.
Autumn has well and truly arrived. Last week was idyllic. True Indian Summer weather.
Now, today, … bright ,cold, windy. (Last night’s winds enough to blow you over..and the rain… Well as I say, Autumn has arrived.)
I want to plant a tree on my back paddock.
I want a Deodara. As you know I have a love for them, and I already have 3, but I think the land is too exposed.I went to have a look yesterday, but decided against the site. So, back to the drawing board.
Wirksworth Festival and the Illuminations were well attended, and families have discovered lots of things to do near the Secret , such as, the Stone Centre, the Tram Museum, the Otter Centre, Donkey Sanctuary, Go Ape Centre…Lots and lots , oh fishing as well in Matlock Bath.
Have you booked your 1/2 term and Christmas/New Year breaks yet.? Phone me . Some nice discounts available.
The garden is due for it’s last tidy up for the year soon, and Ben has to make everything ship-shape for the Winter.
Christmas preparations are in hand and I hope we do not have too much snow this year, altho’ my Christmas guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves building snowmen etc..
Bye for now, and I will let you know how the weather progresses.
Christine
